One Vial containing 10mg of ARA-290 (Cibinetide)
ARA 290 (or Cibinetide) is a synthetic 11-amino acid peptide that acts as a non-erythropoietic tissue-protective agent. It is designed from the helix B surface of erythropoietin (EPO) to activate the Innate Repair Receptor (IRR) to reduce inflammation, alleviate neuropathic pain, and repair damaged tissues without stimulating red blood cell production.
Based on preclinical and clinical research, ARA 290 is studied for the following uses:
- Neuropathic Pain Treatment: It has shown efficacy in reducing pain associated with small fiber neuropathy, sarcoidosis, and type 2 diabetes.
- Metabolic Control: Studies indicate improved metabolic control and lipid profiles in patients with type 2 diabetes.
- Tissue Protection: It helps reduce nerve injury effects by inhibiting the NLRP3 inflammasome and promoting cellular survival.
- Diabetic Complications: It is being investigated for treating Diabetic Macular Edema (DMO).
